About us
Team Avago was born out of one man's enthusiasm for motorsport, Steve Sutton, who is the Managing Director of Avago Indoor Karting, which he and his family founded in 1996 to help satisfy this enthusiasm. As a keen Formula 1 fan, with speed in his blood, karting provided an opportunity for him to be involved in a motorsport where most F1 drivers start their careers.
At an early age, our driver, David Sutton, was encouraged to start racing in karts, initially on the track at the family business and then, as confidence and experience grew, he entered competitions with the help of Steve, an expanding support team and the family.
David, it appears, also had speed in his blood and it wasn't long before a very talented youngster, with Steve and his team in support, started winning competitions.
With the team behind him, David moved through the various kart classes and honed his skills to the point where the team had the confidence to take the next obvious step, to enter the world of motor racing.
Without Avago Karting there would be no Team Avago, it was the foundation of our racing team and remains part of the support network today.

The business foundation behind Team Avago, Avago Karting, as previously stated was founded in 1996 by Steve and his family when an old warehouse was converted into an indoor karting centre, which over the years has undergone several transformations until what you will see today, is a state of the art multi-level track with excellent facilities, including licenced bar and seating area for after race drinks.
